Training

Based on his own experience in recruitment and executive search, his studies and training he has received himself, and on his experience in hiring, training, managing and nurturing teams of recruiters in consulting companies and in-house, Alexander Terpigorev offers audit and training to recruiter teams.  Each of such projects is performed ad-hoc and especially for every particular client, and consists of two major parts.  One, meeting with the client’s management and team to discuss problems, challenges, successes and room for improvement – this may be called an audit of this particular team; as a result lists of areas which need changing (improvement) are listed and presented to the client.  Two is a several-days seminar with the recruiter team, based on a specific program developed by Alexander to address the particular items discussed during the audit.  Most often (but not always) such items to be addressed during the seminar are:

  • Getting a productive (aimed at success) job order
  • Effective education of the (internal) client and the candidate and controlling both sides
  • Headhunting techniques
  • Interview techniques
  • Assessment techniques
  • Evaluating motivation
  • Effective negotiation
  • Dealing with counteroffers
  • Sales and business development techniques
  • Time management
  • Building up the right attitude
  • Attracting candidates depending on profession (e.g. sales, technical, HR, marketing, IT, pharmaceutical, etc.)

After the seminar the participants get the opportunity to discuss with Alexander any particular problem or “hiccup” that they encounter at work, on an individual basis, for one or two years running.  As a rule the team feels better after the seminar and works more effectively, filling more positions within the same time period; such training is a long-lasting process, often Alexander trains teams of recruiters every 2-3 years in the same recruitment company.
